Electronic Dimmer & Rheostat - Use our switches for dimming of interior lights, for heater, heater-defroster or air-conditioning control. Choose from classic ceramic rheostat types or the new electronic dimmers with negligible-heat generation. We make rotary and push-pull types.
Headlamp & Headlamp Dimmer - These useful switches change headlights from low to high beam, or select lighting combinations. Choose from panel- or floor-mounted.
Ignition - We have lever or key-operated types for battery/magneto/diesel ignition and start, battery ignition and light, and we have one- two- or three-circuit operation switches. Special types: foot-operated; Hencol non-tumbler lock switches.
Momentary - They're often used as starters, but they have lots of other uses as well! The most commonly used type is the 'push to start' (Off-On, spring return to Off). Marine types stand up to harsh conditions. See Door/Momentary for switches operated by a door. Noteworthy: Marine windlass switch, weather- and dust-resistant caps.
Door/Momentary - Opening or closing of a door or safety gate actuates these switches, so they can be used to control internal lighting or for safety purposes… especially on transit or school buses! Notable: 91800 has override. 91050 operates five circuits. See Momentary for a wide selection of manually-operated momentary switches.
Neutral Safety, Back-Up Lamp & Alarm - A selection of safety switches actuated mechanically or by vacuum.
Oil, air, Vacuum & Fuel Pump - These sensors monitor essential vehicle systems: oil pressure, oil pressure/choke, vacuum, fuel pump, and air pressure. They come in a wide range of mounting stem options, and terminals.
Push-Pull - One- or two-circuit switches operated by a push or pull of the knob. See also Headlamp Push-Pull Switches.
Rocker - Our broad selection gives you lots of choice: different actuator styles, mounting options, terminals, imprints, lighted or unlit. Notable types: It's a snap to gang our 58328 Series rockers together. Some of them have snap-in lenses, so you can select the color of the built-in pilot lights!
Rotary & Fuel Tank - Use for a variety of functions such as lighting or ignition. Fuel tank switches are for 2- or 4-tank vehicles. Notable types: with keys; with dimmer.
Senders & Temperature - These devices monitor engine temperature. Use switches with one or two pilot lights (Hot or Hot & Cold). Use senders with gauges.
Stoplamp - When you hit the brakes these switches turn the stoplamps on. They can also illuminate a pilot light, to give visual feedback. We have hydraulic and mechanical types.
Toggle - Our broad selection gives you lots of choice: different actuator styles, mounting options, terminals, imprints, lighted or unlit.
Windshield Wiper - These microprocessor-controlled switches ensure dependable control of heavy duty wiper motors. Negative ground.
Battery Isolator - Are designed to prevent the battery with the higher charge from draining into the battery with the lower charge and allow two batteries to be charged simultaneously from a single power source.
Battery Selector - Are designed to isolate one or both batteries with four positions: Off - On Bat # 1 - On both Bat # 1 & 2 - On Bat # 2.
Master Disconnect - Are designed to prevent electrical fires, tampering, theft, and battery drain when equipment is unattended. |
